IPTIF, the Technology Hub Foundation of IIT Palakkad, has launched the “Oorja” Grand Challenge to promote innovation, research and development in the energy sector.
Students, researchers and entrepreneurs can form teams to formulate their ideas and develop products. The Energy Grand Challenge was launched with the goal of green energy generation and making energy generation safer and more efficient.
The prize money is up to Rs 1.5 lakh for designing after shortlisting, up to Rs 10 lakh for prototyping after design review and up to Rs 25 lakh for incubation after prototype review.
